Every now and again, most of us get to a point in life and feel…stuck.
Sometimes the reason why is obvious. It could be that we feel as though we are in a dead-end job or we have reached a ceiling at our current place of work or you’re in a loveless relationship.
Other times, it’s not quite so obvious. On the surface, you could ‘have it all’ in the eyes of society. The job, the spouse, the kids, the cars, the house. So, why do you feel unfulfilled?
Usually, it means there is an imbalance in your life somewhere. For example, what good is it working 80 hours a week for a big fat check if you never have the time to spend any of it?
It’s your intuitions way of letting you know that something is off or you’re not currently achieving your full potential.
It’s the universe’s way of manipulating your emotions to tell you that there is so much more for you to have in your life. Because mama universe wants you to be the happiest, fullest, most authentic version of yourself that you can be. If it wasn’t possible, you wouldn’t even be able to think about it.
Look across all areas of your life.
- Social life
- Personal growth
Do any of these jump out at you initially? Chances are, that’s where you need to work on. Life is all about balance. Having four of these categories as a 10/10 but the other four as a 3/10 isn’t balance. They all need to be as close to the same number as possible and ideally, all 10/10.
This is a time for you to be really honest. Being content with what you have because so many people have it worse off than you isn’t going to cut it here. What would really light your soul up? What is your intuition telling you that you that you need more or less of?
Also look at if you’re being stimulated enough? I’m talking creatively, physically, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually and lovingly. You can be creative here and adapt things to suit your life and your needs.
This ain’t about no one else!
You have to be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be so that you can help and inspire others to do the same.
Write down 3 aspects of your life that you would like to work on improving.
Now list as many ways as you can that would support you in doing this.
