Below are some tools and recommendations that I have found to be useful.
You are a Badass by Jen Sincero
This book is perfect for anyone who is on a journey of making a change for a better life. Jen has been through it all and back again and has a funny and down-to-earth manner that will leave you wanting to be her BFF.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Although a book of fiction, this short book perfectly illustrates that sometimes we have to step outside of our comfort zones, experience pain, fear, anxiety and uncertainty to find our pot of gold that we dream of so often.
3 Things That Will Change Your Destiny by Paul McKenna
British Hypnotist who devoted his life to helping make positive changes in people’s lives, Paul McKenna’s book (one of many) give study-based information, easy-to-understand scientific explanations and practical exercises to help you… well, “Change Your Destiny”. Plus, it comes with free access to a specially designed hypnosis.
Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
This book will help you look at your finances in a whole new way (and let’s be honest, we all need some advice on managing our money better). Robert Kiyosaki had two very influences when it came to money. His own father, an intelligent academic who ‘did it all properly’ but constantly struggled with money, and his friend’s dad, a high school drop-out who managed to build multiple successful businesses and retire very comfortably.
The Web of Grief by Rhiannon Jones
OK, OK, this is my own book, but I wouldn’t recommend it if I didn’t believe in it. Talking about my struggles with loosing my brother, This book gives honest experiences and practical advice for dealing with loss in any form but I have had feedback from many people saying it helped them put their life into perspective even without dealing with grief.
